Goodluck Jonathan Graces 2019 African Security Conference In Port Harcourt

Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan attended the 2019 African security conference on Thursday, July 25th.

The conference, which held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State was organised by the Asis West Africa. Jonathan, alongside other stakeholders at the conference brainstormed on security imperatives for Africa in the new international economy.

The conference was aimed at looking for ways to achieve sustainable peace and development in the continent.

The Elder Statesman noted that insecurity, which has been with the people for a while now, can be collectively resolved. He added that every challenge the country was facing would be subdued because “talks are ongoing, leaders are talking, both political and traditional leaders are talking”
